No. Aegis connects to the IP cameras and video recorders you already own. Most cameras that support ONVIF or RTSP work, which covers nearly every business camera sold in the last ten years.
On a small MDI server installed at your site. Video is analyzed on premises, so detection keeps working if the internet goes down, and your footage is not streamed to someone else’s cloud.
Through the MDI AI Detection app for iPhone and Android, with the video clip attached. Each alert goes to the people you choose for that camera, area and time of day.
No. You draw the areas that matter on each camera, set the hours, and choose how sensitive each detection is. A loading dock at 2 PM and the same dock at 2 AM can behave completely differently.
Yes. Every site, camera, user and alert is managed from one account, with roles that control who sees which sites and cameras.
No. Face matching is an optional module. Most customers get their value from people, vehicle, weapon and safety detections that involve no biometrics.
