No. MDIX connects to the IP cameras already on site through ONVIF or RTSP. A small MDI appliance at the customer site runs the detection.
No. Detection runs on the appliance at the customer site. Only the event, snapshots and a short clip are sent with the alarm.
Per camera. There are no per-operator seats, no per-event fees and no charges based on retention, so a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
Each alarm carries a time-limited link to the clip. Operators do not need a separate account to watch it, and their acknowledgment is recorded.
